Description:

In response to the area’s excellent demographics, The Village at Las Sendas was planned to include approximately 54,000 square feet of retail space, including specialty shops and restaurants. At the time of development, the trade area was underserved by retail and dining options suited to the tastes and preferences of the population. As a result, the project quickly became the area’s location of choice for better dining and shopping.

The Village at Las Sendas was also designed to complement the quality of the Las Sendas community and other nearby residential areas, creating a comfortable environment with amenities suitable for leisurely shopping and dining. A rich blend of architectural materials included metal and tile roofing, stone walls and columns, flanged-steel columns and beams, exposed glu-lam beams, and smooth stucco elements to contrast with board-formed concrete column bases. The result was an architecture that combined the comfort and familiarity of traditional forms in a more modern and contemporary manner.

In addition to retail, approximately 35,000 square feet of professional office space in a campus setting was incorporated into the northern portion of the site. The office buildings provide area professionals with a convenient and desirable location with regional access and the added benefit of being within walking distance to the restaurants and shopping.
