Description
Pecan Plaza is strategically located at the crossroads of two major trade areas (Town of Queen Creek and The San Tan Valley). The site enjoys easy access to many nearby master planned communities (814.7% population growth, 2000-2013*) and is prominently situated on the dominant corner of this key intersection. Additionally, Riggs Road and Ellsworth Road are designated as “roads of regional significance” based on daily traffic volumes and their critical roles within the regional roadway system.
In order to capitalize on its location and easy access to the trade area, Pecan Plaza has been designed to create a shopping experience that complements the small town, rural lifestyle that has made this part of the Valley one of the most desirable and fastest growing communities in Arizona. Planned to accommodate a grocery anchor tenant in addition to retail shops, restaurants, and services, the project’s architectural style reflects the area’s farming and rural heritage, incorporating traditional forms and elements that have been updated to create a comfortable and contemporary environment.
Although Queen Creek has experienced tremendous population growth, making it the second fastest growing community in Arizona (combining Queen Creek and San Tan Valley), the Town is committed to maintaining its small-town, rural atmosphere and the quality of life that has made it so desirable. With a median household income of $80,932 and a strategic location with ideal access to desirable trade areas, Pecan Plaza has the opportunity to become the area’s destination of choice for better dining and shopping.
